Yes. Admins and managers can rent one or more items to an employee or freelancer at a per-day rate (or mark it rent-free). DODO creates a rental invoice, tracks the rental as Active, Returned or Overdue, and records payment by cash, bank transfer or UPI.
Is DODO camera rental software for renting gear to the public?
No. DODO is built for studios and production houses managing their own gear and renting it to their own crew and freelancers. If you run a public rental shop that needs an online booking store and customer deposits, a dedicated rental platform is a better fit.
Can I import my existing equipment list?
Yes. Upload your inventory as a CSV — serial numbers keep each item unique — and export it back to CSV whenever you need an audit or an insurance list.
